All of our athletes have been selected from mandatory tryouts that happen in and around the first week of September. Our team includes athletes competing in Level 2 to Level 6, Junior, and Senior level. All athletes are capable of competing at our Provincial Championships. Athletes that are in level 5 and up are capable of competing at our National Championships and Canada Cup if they have achieved qualification requirements in provincial competitions.
We believe in preparing our competitive athletes not only for the level they are presently in, but also for future levels. There is no limit to progress. Athletes train anywhere from 2 to 5 times a week for an hour and a half or hour and forty-five minutes. Senior athletes may train more depending on their ranking on the Canadian team, or future competitions. There are also training camps and clinics that athletes can attend when offered.
